A fund raising golf day by the Sussex Police Golf Section at a private golf club near East Grinstead has raised £1,500 for the Help for Heroes charity.

Assistant Chief Constable Robin Smith expressed his gratitude to the owner for allowing use of the course.

Help for Heroes co-ordinator Lou Pye also thanked the Police for the generous donation. The money will help go toward funding the practical and direct support that they provide.
