From next week residents in Tandridge will see an addition to their recycling collections.

Small electrical and electronics equipment, batteries, textiles and paired shoes will be picked up weekly from 1st December.

To take advantage of this new simple to use service all residents need to do is:

1.     Place each type of item in a separate plastic carrier bag (supermarket size, no larger than 35 x 40cm and not in black bin bags).

2.     Put batteries in a separate, sealable/tied small up bag eg a sandwich bag.

3.     Tie each bag.

4.     Leave the bags at the front of their property boundary by 6am next to their green food caddy on their usual recycling /waste collection day.
