A teenager has been questioned over an attack on a couple with learning difficulties in Horsham.
The 17 year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident last week, and released on bail.
The victims – a man and a woman both in their twenties – were at Horsham bus station on 25th November just before 7 o’clock in the evening. A group of teenagers arrived in Worthing Road and began throwing sweets at the couple.
One of the teenagers then approached the man, who also had physical disabilities, and started hitting him. The woman was pushed out the way whilst her companion was grabbed by the throat.
