A Crawley man died in hospital two days after he was involved in a road crash in Sharpthone.
Just after 3pm on Easter Monday (6 April), a Mazda Premacy saloon and a Landrover collided in Plawhatch Lane, Sharpthone, at the junction of Grinstead Lane.
The sole occupant of the Mazda, an 83 year old man from Parkway, Crawley, was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with serious injuries, and sadly died there two days later.
The 22-year old Crawley Down man driving the Landrover was unhurt, and his passenger, a 30-year woman from East Grinstead, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.ex Police via 101@sussex.pnn.police.ukorcall 101, quoting Operation Caribou.
