Reigate Police have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with an assault outside the Old Chestnut pub, Station Approach East in Earlswood last Tuesday (14 April)
The victim, who’d been watching football in the pub, went outside to the smoking area at around 9pm. After a brief conversation with another man he was then set upon by the man and two others who punched and kicked him to the ground. After the incident the three men made off on foot while the victim walked home.
The victim later attended East Surrey Hospital for a split lip which will require plastic surgery.
The first suspect is believed to be called Jess or Jez and is described as white, around 5ft 11”tall of stocky build and in his early 40s. He had balding fair hair.
The second suspect is described as white, around 5ft 10” tall, approximately 35 years old, slim build with mousey/dark short hair and was wearing a blue T Shirt.
The third suspect is also white, around 5ft 10” tall, of stocky build and between 15-16 years old. He was wearing shorts, a T Shirt and trainers.
DC Hannah Millyard who is investigating said: “This appears to be an unprovoked attack on someone who was simply enjoying a night out and this level of violence has no place in our community. We need to find these three individuals who we believe are local to the area and are asking the Earlswood community for help.
