Guilty of dangerous driving in Three Bridges

A woman has been found guilty of dangerous driving outside a school in Three Bridges.

43 year-old Leanne Andre received a 12-month Community Order of 90 hours unpaid work and was ordered to pay total court costs of £810.  She has also been disqualified from driving for 12 months and must then take an extended driving test,

The incident occurred in October last year when Andre had parked illegally in the bus stop directly outside Three Bridges primary school.  The situation soon escalated.

A note from the community policing team was placed on her windscreen explaining the situation and on her return to the car a PCSO explained in person.  The PCSO was met with verbal abuse and Andre then drove off, accelerating towards a Police Constable who had asked her to stop.  She avoided hitting the officer however continued to drive away.
