Last Wednesday (15 July), Councillor Rose Thorn, Chairman of Tandridge Council, visited Lingfield Primary School in Vicarage Road to talk to the children about her civic role.

Her visit was even more special for one little boy, as her grandson Samuel goes to the school.

The Chairman’s keen to visit other schools to talk to the children about what the Council does.
