A teenager from Redhill has been arrested in connection with a fight which broke out in a children’s play area.

The incident occurred last Thursday around five o’clock in the evening in Goldsworth Park.

Reports suggest three men had been drinking and then started fighting among themselves.  One man fell to the ground after being punched in the face.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses but are urging more to come forward.

The 18 year-old has been released on bail pending further investigation.
