Andy Smith is your lunchtime presenter on Monday between 12 and 2pm with a programme of topical news stories and opinion also including regular Police Call and Entertainment features.

Andy also is part of our news team writing local bulletins for our breakfast and drive shows.

He is a qualified broadcast journalist having trained in Portsmouth in 1985 before moving onto reporting and presentation jobs with the BBC and commercial radio.

When not working on Susy Radio he can be found treading the boards with local amateur dramatic societies.

He particularly likes doing comedy roles with his favourite so far being Jim Trott from the Vicar of Dibley where, after some early reluctance, he was persuaded to do a Full Monty routine as part of the Celebrity Vicar episode although as the Directors later remarked a little too well by the end!
