We can expect stunt demonstrations, experts offering their advice on bicycle safety and maintenance and lots of food stalls.

The festival is free and will take place in Priory Park.

And keen cyclists who book for the day in advance will be entered into a prize draw to win a bike worth over £700.

Surrey Composting

Surrey Residents have composted nearly 1000 tonnes – 64 garden sheds worth – of waste this year.

More than 15,000 bins have been sold through Surrey County Council in the past 5 years to encourage more green behaviour. You can compost garden, fruit and vegetable waste as well as other items like shredded cardboard and egg shells. Within a year it becomes nutritious compost to use on the garden.
