Joint Enforcement Team

Last Friday, Reigate and Banstead’s new joint enforcement team carried out its first operation, a licensing check on local taxis and pubs in Redhill and Reigate.

During the operation, over 30 taxis were checked with 16 being warned for licensing offences.

Most pubs visited were found to be fully compliant.

During the operation, the team came across an unrelated matter which resulted in Police arresting a man for a racially aggravated public order offence. He is currently on bail.
