Gatwick Help For Disabled

Gatwick Airport has launched a lanyard for passengers with hidden disabilities, who may require additional support when travelling through the airport.

The lanyard is entirely voluntary for passengers with hidden disabilities and will act as a discreet sign for staff that additional help may be required, such as needing more time to process information.

The lanyard was launched last week as part of Dementia Awareness week and is supported by leading charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society and the National Autistic Society.

The lanyards are free of charge and are available from Gatwick’s assistance desks.
