Tess Lewsey talks to Tanya Stafford from the Reigate and Redhill Live at Home Scheme, an organisation that offers support and friendship to older people in the Reigate, Redhill, Merstham and Horley areas.
Three year old Isaac has cerebral palsy and last year had surgery in America on his spinal nerves. After the operation and intense physio he has built up muscles in his legs, can now sit in a normal chair and has learnt to climb stairs. His walking is being held back by the muscles in the top of his legs being too tight. “Hope for Isaac” is raising funds for Isaac to have hip adductor release surgery and continued physio.
