Crawley Borough Council Launches Small Business Grants Scheme

Crawley Borough Council will launch its Small Business Grants Scheme on Small Business Saturday, the 3rd December.  The council’s Cabinet will be asked to approve the scheme at its meeting on 30th November.

The Council has been allocated over eighty thousand pounds from a county-wide pot to fund micro and small businesses.  Officers will recommend that this funding pays for apprenticeship grants for businesses with fewer than 10 employees, grants for small business start-up and grants to help small businesses grow.

If the scheme is approved, grant applications should include an outline business plan to demonstrate how the investment will unlock business growth.
