The dream of FA Cup success will have to wait until next year for Crawley Wasps.
The hosts were beaten by two-goals to nil by Oxford City in a tense game at the weekend.
The visitors, who currently top the Southern Region Women’s Premier Division, opened the scoring after 23 minutes with a well-struck ball placed just out of reach of debutant Wasps keeper Marie Gilstroem.
The fate of Wasps was sealed in the 73rd minute when Oxford doubled the goal difference.
