Crawley Regeneration Is Underway

The regeneration of Queens Square in Crawley is underway.

Costing over three million pounds, the work is due to be completed next summer.

New high quality paving, lighting, seating, street furniture, planting, an attractive plaza and decorative water feature are some of the aspects included in the regeneration.

It is hoped the transformation will help to encourage landowners and businesses to invest more in the area, acting as a catalyst for wider generation.

Man stabbed in Horsham

An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in Horsham.

Police were called to Park Terrace East Monday morning following reports of a fight.  They found a 31 year-old man with stab wounds to a leg and buttock, as well as a head wound from a blunt instrument.

The victim was treated for his injuries and discharged later that same evening.

Nobody has yet been arrested however police are looking for two men suspected of being involved.  It is believed all three men are known to each other.

CCTV Image released following burglaries in a Gatwick Hotel

CCTV images have been released in the hunt for two men police would like to speak with in connection with a spate of burglaries in a Gatwick Hotel.

The men pictured were seen entering and exiting the hotel over the time of the burglaries and it has been established that neither men were guests or staff.

Over a two-and-a-half hour period the evening of July 25th 53 rooms were entered at the Marriot’s Courtyard London hotel in the South Terminal by means of a lost or stolen housekeeping masterkey.

Four had property stolen from them, ranging from cash, foreign currency, to perfume and valuable jewellery.

The first suspect is described as white, of medium build, with short dark hair which is shaved at the sides. He had tattoos visible on his left wrist and his right calf.

The second suspect is described as white, of slim build, with short brown or grey hair.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Abbey Rangers 1 – 8 Crawley Wasps

Crawley Wasps have maintained their unbeaten start to the season in their FA Cup campaign.

They beat Abbey Rangers away by 8 goals to 1.

Danielle Boyd scored four times, Roseanne Fine hit a hat-trick and Holly Walker completed the scoring to set up a tie with Oxford City Ladies in the next round.

Wasps are just two wins away from the first-round proper.
