Outwood Man fined for height of hedges

Redhill Magistrates Court last week fined a man for failing to lower the height of his hedges.

Milan Simek from Outwood was fined £1100 and ordered to pay Council costs of over £1000 and contribute £110 to the victim support fund after pleading guilty to not complying with a remedial notice.

The notice was originally served by Tandridge District Council in September 2013 as it was believed the hedge adversely affected the neighbouring property.
