Weekend Sports Review

In their FA Cup third round match on Saturday, Crystal  Palace beat West Brom 2-0.  Despite only having 44% of the possession, goals from Dwight Gayle in the 23rd minute and Marouane Chamakh in stoppage time ensured the Eagles progression to round 4 where they’ll play either MK Dons or Wigan.

Crawley Town didn’t have a match this weekend, but they have a busy week ahead with a second round FA cup replay on Wednesday against Bristol Rovers at the Broadfield stadium.

The weather took its toll on the rest of the local matches, with Horley Town’s 5-3 defeat at Epsom the only other game that took place.
