Crawley council owns multiple outlets across the region and are offering long term lockups for those who need it.

Just a four-week commitment is needed to pick up the keys, with rent paid monthly by direct debit in advance.

PCC For Sussex Re-elected

The Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex Katy Bourne has been re-elected.

She’s stood for the county since 2012 when the role was created.

Ms Bourne said she felt humbled that people have put their faith in her and promises to keep delivering for them.

Sussex Man Thanks Paramedics For Saving His Life at Three Bridges

A Sussex man has met up with the same paramedics who helped saved his life twelve months ago to say thank you.

67-year-old David Mortimer was having a cardiac arrest at the Three Bridges Tesco Petrol Station.

A student nurse and Met Police officer who were both off duty at the time called 999 and started CPR.

The pair stabilised him ahead of the arrival of paramedics who took over.

Mr Mortimer said he would forever be grateful for everything everyone did to save his life.

Help and Advice for Polling Day Across the Susy Region

With the local elections just a couple of days away, Reigate and Banstead Council are offering a guide on how to help you through the voting process on polling day.

A series of hints and tips, along with useful information can be found on their website, such as attending with pets, wearing face coverings and reminding people you now need to bring photo ID.

Polling Stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 2nd May.

Rural Crimes Across Surrey are said to be on the Rise

The Chairman of the National Farmers Union Redhill branch has said that rural crime across the county has become more intense over recent months.

Andrew Compton says he’s experienced varying forms of illegality, including fly tipping, stolen property and livestock worrying.

He feels there needs to be a root and branch shake up of the county’s police to rural crime.

Rural Crime Inspector for Surrey Police Darren Benge said, “We are determined to find solutions that will make Surrey a safer place for our rural community to live and work”.
