East Grinstead’s Mayor, Councillor Nick Hodge and East Grinstead and District Lions President Brian Richens attended Synergy Sports Academy’s training session last Saturday (13th September)
Mr Richens presented Zara Munday, National Bronze medalist (15 – 16 years) a cheque for £250 to go towards much needed new club equipment. And yes this is our own Neil Munday’s talented daughter.
The Mayor was then challenged by club members to “have a go” on the trampoline. The challenge was accepted and the Mayor along with his daughter had a go followed by the Lions president.
All successfully completed some basic moves to a huge round of applause!
