SPORT: Carlisle win shows we’ve got heart says Yems
Crawley Town boss John Yems has praised the team’s desire and heart after their 2-1 win over Carlisle at the weekend.
Goals from Tom Nichols and Nicholas Tsaroulla meant the Reds came away with their first victory in 15 meetings between the two clubs.
Yems believes the win shows the club is moving forward despite recent injuries and hopes more people can get believe in them now.

SPORT: More Crawley Town players extend contracts
Crawley Town Football Club have announced contract extensions for both captain George Francomb and midfielder Jack Powell who have secured two-year deals with a third year option.
The news comes after striker Tom Nichols was offered a new deal last week, meaning three crucial senior players have all been retained for a further two years.
Chief Executive Erdem Konyar said: “We are delighted to see George and Jack extend with the club. Together with Nico, I believe all three lads are part of the leaders at the club.”

Football: Crawley Town sign former Sunderland defender.
Crawley Town have signed former Sunderland defender Joel Lynch on a short-term contract.
The 33-year-old has been without a club since leaving the Black Cats last summer, but has been training with the Reds this year.
He has made 387 league appearances over the course of his career.
Lynch has agreed a deal until 3 January 2022.
New Crawley Town player excited to join the reds
New Crawley Town signing, Alex Battle, says fans can expect lots of energy and enthusiasm moving into his season with the club.
The pre-season top goal scorer hopes to give the club plenty of goals for the team and get stuck in with some of the players he already knows well.
The centre forward player said; “That’s one of the positives, I know all the players, and they are all so welcoming. I feel a part of the team already.
“I want to get on, give it my all. I want to get points for the teams, goals for the team and get up in the league.
“It’s been a long time coming.”
