On behalf of everyone involved with Susy Radio, I’d like to thank everyone who attended the open meeting last Sunday evening at  The Farmhouse, Langshott.  It was so nice to see so many people who clearly care about local and community radio and who feel so strongly that the area is having a raw deal and are prepared to commit themselves to support our project.  I hope we managed to speak to most of you and we have taken contact details and will keep you informed as to how the project is progressing and about any future meetings.  In the meantime please keep coming back to this website for more information, see our Facebook page and our Twitter feed.

And last but by no means least, many thanks to Jerry and his staff at The Farmhouse for once again making us feel so welcome.

As you may know, last June, Susy Radio was granted a Community Radio Licence from OFCOM to broadcast on FM to Redhill, Reigate and surrounding villages. Susy Radio is working very hard at this moment preparing for our launch in the Autumn. Many things need to be attended to, including fundraising, signing up advertisers, and gathering local people who are interested in, and wish to help the project,

Your support is needed, whether you would like to advertise or provide a small donation or if you just have an interest in radio, we need *you*. If you’d like to be involved maybe as a production assistant, administrator, presenter or other voluntary position in this terrific community project please come and meet us. We are holding an open evening for all from 5pm on Sunday 27th February at “The Farmhouse” public house, Langshott, Horley. Please do come along and meet the Susy Radio team.
