Mayfield Lavender Farm will celebrate its 10th anniversary in the summer.
Owner Lorna Maye joined Annie Whitmore in the studio to talk about the farm and how it came to feature in a Bollywood movie.
Introducing the “eFoldi”, winner of “Invention of the year, 2016”, and from a local Redhill based company.
One of those absolutely fascinating moments as a broadcaster, not only learning something new, but from someone so passionate about the project that you do not want the interview to end and then to get involved and have a go – fantastic! Neilm
Sumi Wang joined presenter Neil Munday in the studio on Saturday lunch with the eFoldi, a brand new lightweight mobility scooter that folds up into a pull along suitcase suitable to take on an aircraft, and also refolds to make a seat. So much thought passion and implementation of design has gone into this brilliant invention you quickly understand why it won invention of the year 2016, and was awarded the prize at the Gadget Show Live event. Yet Sumi is a very down to earth person, lovely to meet, but when she speaks she conveys that passion for her work – just listen!
