Jane Green FRAS – Astronomy
Astronomer Jane Green talked about some of the delights to be found in the Summer night sky including the Perseid meteor showers, a little interaction between the Moon and Saturn along with the Jupiter and Mars conjunction.
Around The Lake Festival
The Around-The-Lake-Festival took place at Tilgate Park across the weekend of 13 & 14th July 2024.
A phenomenal weekend of FREE live performances, art installations around the lake and creative drop-in sessions for the whole family.
The amazing ‘Crossings’ by Luke Jerram is running until Wednesday 17th July with 9 incredibly painted row boats available to the public to take for a gentle row across the water, whilst listening to a choice of incredible stories.
Well done to the team at Crawley’s Creative Playground for producing the event.
