Parveen Khan brought us up to date with some local events and organisations including a review of the recent Crawley Community Awards and a look forward to National Windrush day being celebrated in Crawley.
This Saturday 18th June the Horley Carnival is back from midday until 5pm at the A23 Recreation Ground, Brighton Road in Horley.
A spectacular themed parade will assemble in the Victoria Road car park before making its way through Horley Town Centre to the recreation ground.
Cllr Mike George, Chairman of the Horley Carnival, talked to Susy’s Shan Robins about what you can go along to see at the ‘Super Hero’ themed Horley Carnival, about the Superhero parade and hear what the judges might be looking for:
Talking of Superheroes, the men and women of the Fire Service are certainly right near the top! If you want to join them, pop along to the Carnival.

Dog trainer Wendi Claxton, continues the journey of getting a new puppy with a look at getting that new family member home and what to do in those first early days.
Kenneth Harris, President of Crawley Rotary explained more about the work of the club, and made an appeal for new younger members to join the local Crawley branch.
