Julian currently presents The Happy Place on Saturdays from 3-6pm. The show has regular features such as Saturday Ska, Double Barrel (two songs with the same title) and the Happy Place – where he asks you to get in touch to tell him which song takes you to a happy place (and why) – it can bring back memories of a place, a person, a state of mind. Anything, really, any piece of music that takes you somewhere, makes you smile and acts as the soundtrack to your happy memories…

 In a previous life Julian spent many years working in the music and entertainments industry, doing PR, press, bookings for a range of bands, artists and venues. Some of his favourite projects have been with the likes of a Rolling Stone, a couple of Spice Girls, Paul Weller, The Beautiful South, U2, Joan Armatrading, The Rat Pack and Teenage Fanclub, to name but a few.
