Cycling is a great way to get exercise and get around without having to think about parking or traffic jams. But how did you learn to ride a bike? Did you learn as a child or an adult? Cycling teacher Jonathan Spearman enables non-cyclists to get on a bike and ride with confidence in less than an hour. Tess Lewsey spoke to Jonathan who told her about his interest in two wheels and the teaching work he does.

A community group in Merstham is campaigning to save a pub from being closed.
The Limes Action Group was set up to try and save The Limes pub, situated on the corner of Southcote Road and Albury Road. The pub’s owner, Enterprise Inns, plans to sell the pub for redevelopment. The Limes Action Group is considering how to move forward using Article 4 of the Localism Act of 2011. The Act supports local communities to keep much-loved sites in public use and part of local life. Local councillors have attended the Limes Action Group’s meetings and a publicity campaign is now underway to save the pub.
