Trudi Bubb from Crawley joined Alan French in the studios of Susy Radio on Thursday 14 April 2016 where they talked about her return to the Round the World Clipper Race.
Trudi who lives with ME spoke of the challenges and the reason why she is taking part and joining her boat in Seattle towards the end of April. From there she and her crew mates will sail to New York, via the Panama Canal before continuing across the Atlantic to Londonderry, Holland and finally into St Catherine’s Dock in London on 30 July.
During her time at sea she is raising money for the Gatwick based Golden Lion Children’s Trust to take children to see Santa in Lapland at the end of the year.
